In Tay Ninh, there are individuals who quietly endure hardships yet continue to rise with remarkable resilience. One such touching story is that of Mr. Pham Thanh Kha, a person with disabilities lives in Long Kim Quarter, Long Thanh Trung Ward, Hoa Thanh Town.
On January 19, 2025, the Chua Thien Lam-Go Ken Branch of the Association for Support of People with Disabilities, in collaboration with the Long Thanh Trung Commune People’s Committee, held a ceremony to hand over a “Great Solidarity” house to Mr. Kha. This new home is not just a shelter from the elements but also a symbol of the community's love and compassion. It is the result of collective efforts from social organizations, local authorities, and kind-hearted donors, all working together to provide Mr. Kha with a more stable life.
Beyond this, the Association for Support of People with Disabilities and Child Rights Protection of Tay Ninh Province has carried out numerous practical support programs. In 2024, the Association provides over 700 assistive devices, including wheelchairs, handcycles, cerebral palsy chairs, and prosthetic limbs for people with disabilities. Additionally, it donated 38 charity houses and 42 bore wells, significantly improving living conditions for many families facing exceptional difficulties.
These offer initiatives not only material support but also immense emotional encouragement, instilling greater confidence and hope for a brighter future among people with disabilities and children in challenging circumstances in Tay Ninh
