Love Family Te - Phan – A Haven of Love in the Heart of Saigon
Amid the bustling streets of Saigon, there exists a humble yet profoundly loving place called “Phan Family,” affectionately known as “Pink Manger.” Here, those who have been forgotten by society—orphaned, elderly, sick, or disabled—find a true home filled with warmth and care.
At the heart of this extraordinary shelter is Brother Hoang Van Binh, a cyclo driver who, for over 16 years, has quietly dedicated his life to supporting those in need. It all began with a chance encounter with an elderly man shivering under an awning on a rainy night. From that moment, Brother Binh opened his arms not only to one person but to millions of others: abandoned children, lonely seniors, and individuals with cerebral palsy or disabilities.
Despite his own hardships and simple meals that sometimes consist of just rice and vegetables, Brother Binh's home is never short of love. With the support of his family, neighbors, and kind-hearted donors, he has expanded his mission, establishing another shelter in Binh Trieu to provide refuge for those in distress.
Today, Te - Phan Family is a sanctuary for over 50 individuals, from disabled children to frail elderly. In this home, they are no longer alone or abandoned but live as a true family—with a father, a mother, siblings, and, above all, an enduring love that embraces them throughout their lives.
